      Branch Support 3.0: How Digital Humans are Revolutionizing RBC's Branch Experience

      In today’s fast-evolving financial landscape, fraud prevention and customer support are critical yet resource-intensive areas for banks. RBC, in collaboration with NVIDIA and Quantiphi, developed an innovative fraud support agent designed to address these challenges directly in branches.
      Using NVIDIA NIM, NeMo Guardrails, NeMo Retriever, PEFT/LoRA, and ACE/Tokkio pipelines, we built a digital avatar that empowers branch employees to handle fraud and account access issues with ease. By providing second-monitor support via a digital agent, this solution improves operational efficiency and reduces the need for specialized fraud call centers.

      We'll highlight the unique challenges of in-branch expertise variability and the potential for digital transformation within retail banking, offering practical insights into the intersection of AI, banking, and real-time customer service.
