InfiniBand the Network that Accelerates HPC and AI Environments - Try it yourself.

If you have ever heard about InfiniBand you probably know it’s the pre-dominate network technology for AI and HPC deployments and now you have the chance to try it yourself. In this workshop you will have the opportunity to experience how simple it to operate and manage an InfiniBand fabric from an administrator point of view. Upon completion of the session, you will be able to: Describe the InfiniBand Architecture basics. Monitor InfiniBand fabric main components and their operational status. Perform basic operations that are required to: Display main parameters, addresses, and links status of the different nodes. Identify the subnet manager - the element that runs and manages the InfiniBand fabric. Run bandwidth and latency performance tests that demonstrates the performance expected for RDMA traffic. Prerequisite(s): Basic understanding of network concepts
